# 6.4.3 Token Rewards

As an incentive to encourage the continued participation and support of the EDNS community, users may from time to time receive rewards in $EDNS through the designated digital wallet for usage within the EDNS ecosystem. Generally, users who participate more actively in the EDNS ecosystem (eg. by acquiring, renewing and/or reselling EDNS domains, using our SMS messaging system, hosting decentralised websites within the EDNS network etc.) will be more likely to receive greater amounts of $EDNS token rewards. Notification of release of such $EDNS token rewards will be posted on the EDNS official website and sent to the user’s designated e-mail address and the designated EDNS domain account.
