# The Internet Revolution Towards Web 3.0

Decentralized Applications (dApp) are developed with the mature adoption of blockchain technology in different existing scenarios, not only the storage and communication but also the whole decentralized infrastructure. We as the developer of EDNS describe the EDNS project as a "revolution" because the project is going to define the new standard of the next generation of the web world. EDNS is breaking through the limitations of the traditional infrastructure and redefining what we should have in the new Internet world. The operation of the $EDNS will support these dApp projects, which will interact with reality in the nearest future and support the development of new emerging projects.

In the existing Internet world, all Internet services are dominated by a few parties. A policy change by a particular government may block and limit the user from accessing the resources through the Internet. Thus, building up a decentralized network can help to allow the resources to be accessed by anyone, anytime and anywhere.

Web 3.0 presents the third generation of the Internet. It is also called the semantic web or the spatial web. It is a blockchain-based web that supports traditional web pages, apps, and social media. It is a user-friendly, more secure, more private, and better-connected Internet. The following diagram illustrates our vision of the dApp projects and relationships on Web 3.0.

The future projects that the $EDNS tokenomics will support include Ether Domain Name Services (EDNS), Decentralized Storage Drive (deDrive), Crypto Wallet, and The Mini Air Box (AirBox).
